4/25/20: COVID-19 has touched every one of us and a large number of people are now facing hunger as a result of lost wages and jobs. VIDA pledged 10% of proceeds to food banks this month to do our part and to provide meals to our most vulnerable communities.

4/2/20: Everyday doctors, nurses and essential service workers are boldly facing the COVID-19 crisis and every day, we as a community, are being asked to help contain the crisis, keep our distance and use protective measures. While we’re doing everything necessary to keep our teams and our valued customers healthy and safe, we want to do more. We’ve seen the impact using protective masks has made in countries that have flattened the curve (China, S. Korea, Taiwan, Singapore) and we believe masks can help us contain the virus and keep the vulnerable safe.
Starting today, VIDA will produce and stock washable and reusable 100% cotton protective masks designed to be used with a PM2.5 6 layered activated carbon filter inserted within the fabric. These masks are not substitutes for FDA approved N95, surgical or procedural masks.
You can purchase these masks individually or as bundles at a price that allows us to fund the manufacturing and supply. 10% of profits will be donated to SF-Marin Food Bank and Food Bank NYC

3/25/20: Some of our factories have temporarily closed to adhere with global shelter in announcements, but we remain open online. Thank you for your patience as orders may be delayed. Health and safety is our top priority at the moment and we’re doing everything we can to help with social distancing while we continue to support our artist community and showcase their work and stories online.
3/15/20: As we deal with the uncertainty and anxiety during this isolating time, we have created a space for our artists to stay connected with VIDA and with each other through our VIDA x Studio Facebook page. On this page, our artist community will find stories from fellow artists around the world and inspiration and strength for these tough times as well as important announcements from VIDA. Our hope is that this global situation and this platform will serve to bring us all together and allow us to openly rely on each other.

As we continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely, we wanted to share the actions we are taking to keep our teams and our valued customers healthy and safe, so we can continue to deliver the VIDA experience you know and love.
Hygiene standards for our employees, office environment, products and warehouse are and will always be a top priority. As the situation continues to evolve in the U.S., we have taken additional actions to ensure our entire team is here to serve you in the safest way possible. All our San Francisco based employees are working from home and our warehouse staff has been trained to follow the latest guidance from the CDC, WHO, local governments and public health agencies.
