Why partner with VIDA?

I love that artists can turn their creations into tangible fashion and share them with people all over the world. In my opinion, fashion is a work of art.

What about the VIDA story/philosophy resonated with you?

Some people are so creative but they don’t know what to do with their art or have the means to do anything with it. I love that VIDA gives the designers access to manufacturing that they wouldn’t normally have. I also love that they are creating unique products. In a world full of fast fashion, we can all use something special in our wardrobes that has meaning and a story behind it.

What inspired you to curate this collection?

There are SO many items on the site, it’s very easy to get lost and overwhelmed. A small curation makes the shopping experience simple and fun.

Your curated collection mainly features beautiful animal and tropical prints, is this a trend we should be watching out for?

Animal prints (whether it’s cheetah, cow, leopard, giraffe, etc…) are trending in all areas of fashion and home. And tropical prints are synonymous with summer, though I personally love a botanical pattern all year long, it makes me feel like I’m on vacation.

You are a true style icon for fashionistas everywhere. Do you have a style icon yourself?

The people that inspire me the most are those that have their own style, they don’t follow any rules but take risks. Olivia Palermo, Cher,  Zoe Kravtiz, Nicole Richie, Iris Apfel, Anna Dello Russo, Harry Styles and Pharrell Williams are all icons in my eyes. Not to say I don’t also look forward to what JLO will be wearing on the red carpet!!!

What do you love most about being a fashion influencer?

I love being a fashion editor because I can introduce small brands to a bigger audience and I can help people discover labels that they would never have been exposed to before.
